EDWARD PECK FAIA LEED AP | Design Director
Edward M. Peck, FAIA is an advocate for high-performance architecture, an educator of informed collaboration, and a pioneer in innovative materials. With nearly 30 years of experience in the design and construction industry, Edward is recognized as a leader in performance-driven architecture that integrates design excellence with technical rigor.
His professional background is diverse. Edward has practiced as an architect, planner and façade engineer and has served as Design Director for a leading specialty ETFE contractor. Through these roles, he has developed deep expertise spanning design and engineering, product development, manufacturing, and construction. This range of experience across complex and progressive projects positions him as an impactful design leader and collaborator.
Edward’s national and international portfolio encompasses a wide range of project typologies, including higher education, corporate, cultural, residential, and sports and entertainment facilities. In addition to his design leadership, he is widely recognized as a pioneer of ETFE technologies and an expert in glass systems and architectural fabrics. This in-depth knowledge of advanced building skins makes him a highly sought-after technical advisor and educator.
Edward earned degrees in Building Science and Architecture from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He has taught design studios and led technical seminars in the College of Architecture at the Illinois Institute of Technology. He is licensed architect with NCARB credentials and was one of the first LEED Accredited Professionals for sustainable practices. In 2017, Edward was elevated to the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects in recognition of his design and technical contributions to the profession.
Beyond his professional practice, Edward is actively engaged in community leadership and advisory roles, including service with the Southland Equity Initiative (SEI), the Southland Development Authority (SDA), and the Southland Collective of Mid-Century Modern (SoCoMCM).
